The Ministry of Pastor Committee (NSW/ACT Synod)
The Ministry of Pastor Committee is a committee of the Board of Education and has been created in response to the requirements under regulation 2.14.6(b) which deal with people wanting offer themselves to serve the Church as Pastors in approved placements.
This committee has been formed for three main purposes:
- To process any applications which come as a result of regulation 2.14.6(b)
- to continue to resource the work of Presbyteries and Synod as it relates to the ministry of Pastor once the ministry of Pastor Consultant placement is completed
- to collect and maintain preceding decisions and as such develop a database of information for the purposes of interpreting and applying the relevant ministry of pastor regulations
