What's New?

Resources and conference notes highlighted at the 2009 Inservice, 'Nurturing Growth' are now available in our new Occasional Papers section, and in the Resources downloads page.

The Resource Ministry Resources page has new worship videos for Advent and Christmas; reflections on Resource Ministry by Rev. The Assembly's new Period of Discernment Guidelines are available from our POD Resources page.

Welcome to ELM!

ELM (Education for Life & Ministry) is involved in advocating for and supporting lay ministry within the Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of NSW & ACT. We work within the Synod's Board of Education alongside colleagues in the Youth Unit, Ministry & Mission with Children, Schools & Tertiary Ministries, the School of Continuing Education and United Theological College.

We are also committed to partnering with others passionate about lay education. We are members of the National Lay and Leadership Educators' Network and regularly partner with Presbyteries on projects to develop resources or deliver educational opportunities and events.

At the top of the page you will find drop down menus to take you into the different sections of the website. Occasionally, when there are a number of subsections you may be able to choose from these using a navigation panel on the right hand side of the page.
