Farewell to ELM!

 

Last November we learnt that our wonderful time at ELM is drawing to a close in 2011.

We held a Celebration and Closure of School on Saturday September 10th 2011.

Please find the news about the restructure in the 'official notification'. Although we are obviously saddened to be finishing up, we celebrate the great years and the privilege we have had to serve you all through ELM. Please hold the staff in your prayers at this difficult time.

ELM (Education for Life & Ministry) has been involved in advocating for and supporting lay ministry within the Uniting Church in Australia, Synod of NSW & ACT. We have worked within the Synod's Board of Education alongside colleagues in the Youth Unit, Ministry & Mission with Children, Schools & Tertiary Ministries, the School of Continuing Education and United Theological College.

 

We have also been committed to partnering with others passionate about lay education. We have been members of the National Lay and Leadership Educators' Network and regularly partnered with Presbyteries on projects to develop resources or deliver educational opportunities and events.

 

At the top of the page you will find drop down menus to take you into the different sections of the website. Occasionally, when there are a number of subsections you may be able to choose from these using a navigation panel on the right hand side of the page.
